KERALA TREK

This trek delivers a varied and challenging walk from the beautiful colonial hill station of Munnar toward lush green forests and grasslands, taking in the beautiful tea, coffee and mango plantations for which Kerala is renowned. The pinnacle moment arrives when trekkers tackle Meesapulimala, the second highest peak in the region (2,640 metres). The trip finishes at the tropical palm fringed coast, bringing into view traditional backwater houseboats and fishing villages.

CHAPADA DIAMANTINA TREK

As hosts of the 2016 Olympic Games, Brazil has undergone large scale development, however this trek through Chapada Diamantina delivers an experience away from the crowds, with a challenging and remote adventure.

Following winding trails through valleys and climbing steep escarpments, trekkers are rewarded with panoramic views across the Chapada Diamantina National Park. Spectacular rock formations line the Pati Valley and clear natural pools offer a chance to cool off. After a long and demanding day trekking, local home-stays in the National Park provide a warmly welcomed chance to rest overnight. TREK THE HIMALAYAS

Crossing glacial rivers and cultivated terraces, trekkers snake through picturesque but hilly terrain along wooded ridges up to stunning Tara Top (2800m), where camp is set up under clear night skies. From here the trek meanders on to the village of Sikles (2000m), famous for the Gurkhas who originate from the region, giving a unique glimpse into life in the mountains.
