Cotswold Outdoor is committed to our National Trust partners, no more so that the team at Chichester, who not only work closely with our local sites, but frequently visits and use the National Trust land to enjoy the outdoors.

Tim_at_SlindonIf you are looking for a stunning, picturesque walks through some of West Sussex’s nicest landscapes you must visit Slindon Estate. Just out side of Chichester, this well maintained National Trust area is the largest area in all of West Sussex. With over 25 miles of public rights of way, there are plenty of walks to suit all ages and abilities. From hazel-shaded lanes and neatly cultivated fields to woodland and hedgerows, every season brings a new delight to the walks. There are countless places and excuses to stop and stare.

This year, Slindon is hosting over a dozen events aimed at all ages. Have a look at their website for more details, or pop into store and collect on of their leaflet’s which we have at our tills.

For last year’s staff away day Slindon Estate opened their doors and invited our team to spend time in Slindon; “Can’t go wrong with camping”.
