8 months ago the team from Cotswold Outdoor Cardiff decided to tackle Lliwedd. Rising 898 metres above sea level, Lliwedd is one of Snowdonia’s largest peaks but it’s close proximity to the higher peak of Snowdon means it is blissfully quiet in comparison.

Rob says “Our first attempt was a little misconceived as we started far too late in the day so had to abandon as daylight failed”. 8 months later with longer days and better preparation, the team set off again to try to summit the challenging peak used for Everest training in the 1950’s.
